Refund policy
At Meow and Aww Pet Essentials, every item is made especially for you and your furry companions. Because our products are personalized and printed-on-demand, we kindly ask customers to carefully review their orders before completing checkout.
Important First Step: Please contact us before returning any products. If you notice an issue on the products or anything else on the order, please submit a problem report to our Contact page.
Returns & Exchanges
Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:
- Buyer’s remorse
- Incorrect size selection
- Change of mind
- Incorrect personalization details submitted by the customer
- Ordering the wrong product, color, or design
Please make sure all customization details, shipping information, and sizing selections are correct before placing your order.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect, we’re here to help.
Please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order and provide:
- Your order number
- A clear photo showing the issue
- A brief description of the problem
If the issue is confirmed, we will gladly offer:
- A replacement item at no additional cost, or
- A full refund
In most cases, you will not be required to return the damaged product.
Lost Packages
If your package appears lost in transit, claims must be submitted within 30 days after the estimated delivery date. Once confirmed, we may offer a replacement or refund.
Incorrect Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address at checkout.
If an order is returned due to an insufficient or incorrect address:
- The customer may be responsible for reshipping costs
- Refunds will not be issued for failed deliveries caused by incorrect address information
Unclaimed Packages
Packages that go unclaimed and are returned to our fulfillment facility may require additional shipping fees for reshipment. Unclaimed returns may eventually be donated to charity after a holding period.
Personalized & Custom Products
Because our products are made specifically for each customer, personalized items cannot be restocked or resold. For this reason, all personalized product sales are considered final unless they arrive defective or incorrect.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at support@meowandaww.com.
Notification for EU consumers
According to Article 16(c) and (e) of the Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, the right of withdrawal may not be provided for:
1. The supply of goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalized;
2. Sealed goods which were unsealed after delivery and thus aren't suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, therefore Meow and Aww reserves rights to refuse returns at its sole discretion.
